Radiant and Transcending Materiality

My work emerges from the material itself. Therefore, my works are not planned in advance. They develop through cycles of construction, disruption and reconstruction, where each action generates the conditions for the next.

Colour functions as an active force, generating rhythm, energy and friction. Combined with repetition and layering it guides movement and transformation.

I graduated from the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam in 2008 and have since developed my practice  through various media.

When it breathes, it stays.
